PE

PE will take place on Wednesday for all children. Please ensure your child has a PE kit which is clearly labelled with their name. All jewellery must be removed.

Rockets to Success

We ask parents to celebrate their children’s achievements at home by completing a star moment note which are clearly displayed on our rocket to success board.

Library

We provide a free lending library which is situated in the reception room. Parents are free to choose books with their children as often as they wish.

In F1, children change their books on Thursdays.

Can children please bring their book bags to school everyday. When you read with your child, please record this in their reading diary. If children read three times a week, they get a prize at the end of the half term.

Weekend Bears

Our weekend bears go home with a different child each week. Please feel free to add photos, pictures and/or a written account of your weekend activities in the book provided.

Today our children raised money for Children in Need. They made a super effort and came dressed in their best spotty clothes.

We arrived at school to find a bonfire in our Foundation Unit, We learnt how to stay safe on bonfire night  including staying safe near fires and how to use sparklers. We finished by eating yummy hot dogs! Stay safe on binfure night!!

We have finished our work learning about bears and celebrated by having a teddy bears picnic. The children wrote invitations and shopping lists. They even made their own sandwiches!

Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 worked really hard to produce a superb Harvest Festival Celebration  for our families. The children were amazing and spoke clearly and confidently. They even did an encore of the Harvest Samba. Well done everyone!

This week our Foundation children have enjoyed a visit from the Schools Library Service. Each child got to take home a copy of the story ‘ The Bumblebear’ that John read to them. We are looking forward  more story sessions in the future! Thank you Laura and John!
