In 6K we are currently reading Children of Winter.
This book is about the PLAGUE. The plague is a disease that was started by flees from rats which then were carried on to humans. Coughing and spluttering caused other people to catch this terrible disease.
The Children of Winter, is based in the small village of Eyam and three children lose their parents to the disease and are forced to live in a barn far away from the village so they don’t get this abysmal disease.
