3/4S WW2 Day

3/4S had an amazing WW2 day today! The children listened so well to their visitor, painted their own rifles, and took part in a parade around the playground. Well done to all of the children who took part!
Y3/4H Make Photo Frames

What a lovely afternoon in Y3/4H today! We have been making some prototype photo frame designs in our design technology lesson. We had to make them so that they could stand up and hold a photo. We now have some great ideas for when we make them using more resistant materials.
1/2H Create Floral Tiles

1/2H have been creating some beautiful floral tiles. 🌺🌻 Last week we cut out a tile shape in some clay and printed flowers and leaves on them. This week, we have been carefully painting them. They look fabulous!
Exploring French Weather!

Today seemed the perfect day to teach how to say the different types of weather in French! 3/4S used their knowledge to play connect four with their partner, placing their counter on the weather symbol if they had said it correctly.
1/2H Learn About Teeth

1/2H have been learning about teeth! We used disclosure tablets to identify the plaque on our teeth. Then, brushed our teeth for two minutes. We had lots of fun!
1/2H Look at motifs in popular music

In music, 1/2H have been looking at motifs in popular music and have had a go at playing some. We then created our own simple motif.
3/4S Investigating Light

3/4S had a great afternoon learning how light can pass through some materials but not others. We discussed the terms transparent, translucent, and opaque and then investigated different materials around the classroom with our torches.
1/2H Mazy Maths!

1/2H have been looking at position and direction in Maths. We had to instruct our friend through a maze using the correct terminology. It was tricky but we had lots of fun!
