We are chocolatiers!
As part of our topic on ‘Chocolate’ we have designed, made and tasted our own chocolate bars. We chose which type of chocolate from white,milk or dark then added other ingredients. They looked and tasted great!
Spring is here!
As the weather has been glorious we have been busy planting in our vegetable patch. We have planted garlic, beans and peas. We cant wait to see them grow.
Flood Houses
For their homework project, Y5’s were challenged to design or make a house that would withstand a flood. The ideas and creations were outstanding! If global warming is the future, then Y5’s are the engineers that will help keep our feet dry!
Science in the classroom
Children were challenged to separate a variety of mixtures such as sand and paperclips, rice and sugar and a salt and water solution.
ByDesign day at Brinsworth Academy
All Year 5 enjoyed a day of activities at Brinsworth Academy. We made wind turbines, electrical circuits, created energy, and used robots. A very memorable day!

Whatever happened to Evil Pea?
On Monday morning we had been sent a video about what had happened over the weekend. We found out that Supertato had come to the rescue and saved cauliflower from Evil Pea. We then found a crime scene…. The children were in shock. Evil Pea had been mushed!! He was now Mushy Pea!!!
