Adventure time

On Tuesday the 5th, class 3/4 R were exploring the field and wildlife area. Also, we searched the outside of 3 L/B’s class. Some people found spiders, worms and also, Ewan and Poppy found a dead slug! GROSS!!! Here is a picture of Harley, Jenson and Kristina looking for living creatures.    

GIRLS HOCKEY!

Egg rolling!

Key Stage 1 all competed in an egg rolling competition. We all brought in a hard boiled egg from home and tried to roll it as far as we could across the playground. It was really good fun!

This half term we made an Easter container for our homework project. We had a special assembly to show them. We tried so hard and they were all very different. Have a lovely Easter everyone!

Meet a Creature

As part of science week, children in Foundation Stage had some unusual visitors. Dean brought lots of unusual and interesting creatures for us to meet. Which is your favourite – Boris the tarantula, Flora the rabbit or the bearded dragons?      

Dinosaurs

In Foundation Stage we have been learning about dinosaurs. We found some dinosaur eggs in the garden. We created our own dinosaurs using 2D shapes.          

Terrific Toys!

This term, as part of our WWII topic we were asked to create handmade toys at home! Everybody in class made a tremendous effort and it was really interesting to see what toys were popular then and what sort of toys the children had!
