Miss Wakenshaw
Meet your teacher
Hello and welcome to Olive class! My name is Miss Wakenshaw and I will be your year 4 teacher this year. I recently competed some of my training at Brinsworth so I am feeling very lucky to be welcomed back to teach here! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in Olive class, helping you all to learn new, exciting things and support you through your primary school journey. I love to learn too, so I ai to make your learning journey exciting and thought provoking! I can’t wait to be inspired by all your curiosity and ideas. When I am not at school, I love to travel and experience new cultures. Some of my favourite places are Greece and Switzerland. I particularly enjoy trying new things whether that’s experiences, food, music, language or reading a new book. My current favouirte hobbies are watercoolour painting, reading, learning German and walking in the sunshine with my dog – Sandy. I can’t wait to be your teacher. I am sure we will have a fantastic year!

My name is Mrs Bowler and I’m so happy to be your teaching assistant this year!
I’m here to help your teacher and to help you—whether it’s with reading, writing, maths, or anything else you need. I love working with children and can’t wait to get to know each of you.
I always enjoy learning new things. I love arts and crafts and enjoy helping with creative projects. I’m passionate about reading and I am always happy to recommend a good book! Outside school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, I especially love to go on countryside walks together and explore new places – there are so many and so much to learn!
