F1 Make Sock Puppets
As part of our DT project, the children in F1 have made sock puppets. The children have really enjoyed cutting, sticking and sewing their designs. They have made some amazing puppets to play with.
Showing Kindness
Chestnut class had a lovely PSHE lesson discussing what it means to be kind and how to show it. We sat in a circle and they each said a thing that they liked about the person next to them. They showed great kindness and listened really well to one another during the activity.
Exploring Charcoal In Art
In Cherry Blossom class, we have been exploring charcoal and the different marks we can make with it as part of our learning journey in art. We got a little messy!
School Games Hockey Win!
We are so proud of our hockey team who made it through to the quarter-finals. They showed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the competition. #WhitehillWonders

Chestnut class had a lovely day wearing their favourite clothes and raising money for Children in Need. Don’t they all look fabulous!
Y3/4 Wear Odd Socks
Well done to Y3/4 for coming in their odd socks the other day. We had a great afternoon discussing bullying and what impact it has on those around us. We also talked about ways we can ‘Reach Out’ to stop any bullying from happening
Anti-Bullying Week
For anti-bullying week Chestnut class all discussed what they thought bullying was and how they should reach out if this happened to them or they saw it happen to others. The children came in their Odd Socks and we discussed how important it was to be kind and to help others.
