Last night, this Year 3 superstar was chosen by Sheffield Children’s Hospital to be a mascot for the Lionesses. We are all extremely proud of her for this fantastic achievement, well done! #WeBelieveInOurselves

Y5 Superstar!

We are super proud of this Y5 superstar, who made a speech at our Charter Gold presentation today! He spoke with confidence, and even helped his friend who had stage fright. Amazing work, well done! #WeTakeRisks
Chromebooks in Y2!

Holly Class have been practising logging onto the Chromebooks independently, and learning the rules when using IT equipment. This week, they logged on and researched facts about Queen Victoria. The children loved learning new facts, and did such a great job! #WeAreEquippedToLearn
Y2 Literacy

This week, the children in Miss Hollingworth’s Literacy group have started to design their own Wild Thing after reading ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak. They have thought carefully about the design, and we are looking forward to seeing their character descriptions next week. Well done Year 2! #WeWorkHard
2D and 3D Shapes!

This week, Miss Hollingworth’s Maths group has been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. The children have recapped their names and started to investigate the properties. On Tuesday, they used pegboards to explore different ways of creating 2D shapes. Well done everyone! #WeWorkHard

Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week

Last Monday, Chestnut Class came into school in their odd socks to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week. The children discussed what bullying is, and discussed different ways to show respect for one another. Great work, well done everyone! #WeCareAboutEachOther
