Sketching a Map of School in Y2!
Yesterday, Chestnut Class had a great afternoon exploring the school and completing their sketch map for all of the areas inside the school, by using their key. They all worked together so well, and made Mrs Sharp very proud. Well done Y2! #WeWorkHard
Y5 Place Value in Maths!
Miss Beevers’ Maths group have been working really hard on their place value to 1,000,000 over the past few weeks. This week, they tested their partners with a rounding game, and everyone did brilliantly. Well done Y5! #WeWorkHard

This week, Mrs Dobson’s Maths class have been learning about negative numbers using their own number line. They even ventured outside for some learning in the sun, and they have been working fantastically! Well done Y5/6. 😊 #WeWorkHard

Studying Claude Monet in Y2!
Year 2 have been studying the artist Claude Monet and his famous landscapes. After learning all about the history of the artist, and answering the question – What is a landscape? The children then went outside and began to sketch their own masterpieces. Amazing work, well done Y2! #WeAreEquippedToLearn

Y1 Maths!
This week, Year 1 have been counting forwards and backwards in ones, they have learnt a new counting song and activities to practice number bonds to 10! Yesterday, the children looked at a tens frame and discussed how it can help them with counting, and number sentences. Great work, well done everyone! #WeWorkHard

Science in Chestnut Class!
Yesterday afternoon, Chestnut Class had a lovely time in their Science lesson! They learned all about sounds and went on a sound hunt around school. They listened so carefully, and identified quiet and loud sounds, both inside and outside. Well done everyone! #WeAreEquippedToLearn
