Y2 St. Mary’s Church Trip

Today, Y2 have had a wonderful afternoon at St. Mary’s Church. They listened to the Easter story, and planted their own cress seeds. The children were respectful when listening to others, and behaved very responsibly. Well done everyone! #WeListenToOthers
Whitehill Wonders!

PE in Blossom Class

This week, Y1 took part in a PE session outside and enjoyed the warm, sunny weather. They have been working on developing their ball skills, by focusing on passing and receiving the ball accurately to their partner. Great work, well done! #WeAreAlwaysLearning
Red Nose Day!

On Friday 21st March, the children at Brinsworth Whitehill wore red in support of Comic Relief. Everyone learnt why this event is important, and the different ways they could fundraise in the community. The children also completed some fun, Red Nose Day themed activities. Eco Warriors Making Bug Hotels

The Brinsworth Whitehill Eco Warriors have been working hard in their woodland area, collecting sticks to finish off their bug hotels. The children have already spotted a bumble bee, some woodlice, and a caterpillar. Great work, well done everyone! #WeWorkHard
Hansel and Gretel in Y3

Today, Y3 have been working on their word detective skills. They used an online dictionary to further support their understanding of the language used in the traditional fairytale, ‘Hansel and Gretel’. The children then used the new language they had learnt, and put this into sentences of their own. Great work, well done Y3! #WeWorkHard
Police Visit in Y1

On Friday 14th March, Y1 had some very special visitors, who kindly invited them to look around their police car! Everyone had so much fun turning on the siren, and learnt lots about what it’s like to be a Police Officer. Well done Y1, you represented Brinsworth fantastically! #WeListenToOthers
