Pointillism!
In art we have learnt about pointillism. Pointillism is all about making pictures with little dabs of paint. It might take a while but it comes out lovely in the end. Our kind and thoughtful teacher, Miss Stevens, let a visitor to come and show us a bit more.
Brinsworth Academy
On Thursday, 18th February class 5C and 5M visited Brinsworth Academy. We visited for an educational day of Science, Tchnology, Engineering and Maths a.k.a S.T.E.M. We did lots of fun activities like Robotic Rumble, Wind Turbines, Practical Physics, Circuit Boards and Innovative Designs.
BUILD YOUR OWN ANDERSON SHELTER
This week we have been looking at our Anderson shelter projects, that we have been making over the past weeks, at home. From cardboard designs to labeled drawings, we have enjoyed making our own unique air raid shelters, to keep us safe from the blitz. On Thursday we looked at our class and 6R’s projects.
