Remembrance Day

On Tuesday, pupils across Brinsworth Whitehill came together for a special Art session in honour of Remembrance. Each class took time to learn about the significance of the poppy and then sketched their own poppy artwork as a tribute to those who lost their lives in service. The children showed great care and respect in their drawings, and the results were wonderful.

Later in the morning, the whole school gathered outside on the playground to observe the two minutes’ silence. Everyone stood together quietly and respectfully, reflecting on the bravery and sacrifice of others, accompanied by music that helped create a calm and reflective atmosphere.

Well done to everyone involved.
