FS2 parents were invited into school to attend an Early Reading Workshop, followed by a ‘Stay and Play’ session. During the workshop, parents were introduced to the language and strategies used in school when teaching phonics, along with practical ideas to help support their child’s reading development at home.
The event was very well attended, and it was wonderful to see families engaging so positively with their children’s learning. We hope parents found the session informative and useful, and that they were able to take away valuable tips and insights to support reading at home. Thank you to everyone who attended!
