Welcome
to Sycamore (Year 5/6)

Mr Lowry
Meet your teacher
Hello everyone, my name is Mr Lowry and I will be your teacher for next year. My favourite subjects to teach are Maths, Geography and Literacy.
I am a massive Rotherham United fan and like to spend my weekends following them up and down the country.
When I’m not watching football, I like to go walking with my dog (Vinnie) and spend time with my friends and family.
I’m a huge food enthusiast and I like to eat and cook different dishes! I’m really looking forward to working with you next year and I know that we are going to have a fantastic year together!
Meet your Teaching Assistant

Mrs Mitchell
I’m Mrs Mitchell and I have been a teaching assistant at Brinsworth Whitehill for many years. I have worked all around school in every year group, but am looking forward to working in year 5/6 this year with Mr
Lowry. I enjoy camping and country walks. Also, I love having fun with my granddaughter, my great niece and great nephew.
Class Information
Our class has a dojo account where we will regularly update you with information about learning, events and things that we are really proud of. Please ensure you check this regularly as we will also share information on school story.
Attendance is really important. Please ensure that you arrive at school on time, every day and be ready to learn!
PE will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Please send your PE bag (drawstring please) to school on Mondays and take home on Friday.
