Recently, a group of our Year 6 pupils took part in a fascinating guided walk around Rotherham, thanks to the Rotherham District Civic Society. The children discovered the stories behind the town’s famous blue plaques and learned lots of interesting facts about the history of our local area. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring their learning to life and explore Rotherham’s rich heritage.
The visit has helped prepare them for Rotherham Day in September, and they represented the school brilliantly throughout the experience. Well done, Year 6!
