For local history week, 1/2H have been comparing old and new maps. We looked for the similarities and differences. We found it interesting how much Brinsworth has changed over the last 100 years!

Y3/4H WW2 Geography Afternoon

We had a great geography afternoon in Y3/4H today finding out about who the Axis and Allied powers were during WW2. We used an atlas to find out where these countries are in the world and then made our own key to identify and shade them in on a map of our own.
Y3/4H French work!

Great French work in Y3/4H. We have really enjoyed learning the French words for body parts and this week we have designed a monster using our new vocabulary alongside the words we already know for numbers and colours.
3/4S Learn About Spitfires

3/4S loved learning all about Spitfires this week. We then used our sketching pencils to draw our own Spitfire, thinking about the line and tone. Mrs Sharp thinks they are fabulous!
