Anti-Bullying Week
For anti-bullying week Chestnut class all discussed what they thought bullying was and how they should reach out if this happened to them or they saw it happen to others. The children came in their Odd Socks and we discussed how important it was to be kind and to help others.

Items and their function
As part of their DT project, Chestnut class had a fantastic afternoon discussing what a pencil case was and what its function was. They then looked at existing pencil cases and thought about how they were made and who would buy them, ready to make their very own pencil case later on this term.
FS1 Paint Poppies
FS1 have been making and painting poppies and we were very proud of our children as they observed the 2 minutes silence on Friday.

Y5/6 Climbing Wall Day!
Children in Y5/6 scaled the heights of the WPT climbing wall today, in a fun filled day of adventure. Students from both Birch and Sycamore classes excelled all day, as they put their climbing skills to the test to reach the top of the wall.
