Y1 Making healthy fruit skewers
Y1 are looking at instructions in Literacy and have been making healthy fruit skewers. We talked about the different ingredients we would need and the different steps it would take to make them.
Remembrance day: Remembering Edith Cavell
In history, Willow Class looked at propaganda posters and images of Edith Cavell. We then explored the questions: – What do they tell us about her? – Are the sources all reliable? After that, we used the sources and information given to answer enquiry questions.
Oak Class Bonfire Poems!
Oak class have been working super hard in Literacy this week describing what we can see, hear and smell on Bonfire Night. We used our super adjectives to create our own Bonfire poems!
Whitehill Wonders
Our Whitehill Wonders this week have returned to school and made a fantastic start to the new half term. Well done to all our amazing Whitehill Wonders! 👍🌟
FS2 Outside Learning
This week we have been learning about Guy Fawkes and Bonfire night. We used lollipop sticks and colourful ribbon to make our own sparklers which we took to our bonfire party! We enjoyed standing around our pretend fire, eating hotdogs, and drinking hot chocolate!

Willow Class Geography food miles
Willow class have been learning about food miles in Geography. We thought about our yummy lunches and all the ingredients that would’ve been used to make them. We then carried out independent research using the Chromebooks to find out where our food had come from!

FS1 First-Aid Training
