Welcome
to Cedar (Year 3/4)
Mrs Holmes
Meet your teacher
Welcome to our class. I am really looking forward to working in Year 3/4 this year.
I have been a teacher for over 20 year in Hull and Rotherham – mainly in KS2- and it is lovely to be in Brinsworth as this is where I am originally from. As a child, I remember coming to Whitehill to play netball but I don’t think we won many matches!
I really enjoy travelling and visiting new places and I love to be outside, especially walking with my dog Boo. I also spend a lot of the weekend standing on the touch line of the football pitch as my daughter plays. When I have the time, I also enjoy reading a wide variety of different books so I would love it if you could recommend any good books for me.
I can’t wait to meet you all so we can go on this exciting learning journey together.
Meet your Teaching Assistant
Mrs Maslanyk
Hello everyone, My name is Miss Maslanyk as most of you already know.
I have been at Brinsworth Whitehill for 3 years now and I am really looking forward to joining lower key stage 2 and working with year 3/4.
I enjoy all of the subjects and I am looking forward to supporting you with your learning journeys.
Outside of school life I enjoy the outdoors and have a horse, who is a pleasure to keep. I also have 2 rabbits, as you can tell I love animals. I am looking forward to meeting you all in September.
