Meet your teachers

Hello! My name is Mrs Fox and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I will be teaching on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I have been teaching for 19 years and absolutely love supporting young children as they begin their learning journey in EYFS. Seeing their eyes light up with curiosity and confidence is the best part of my job!
I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and nurturing relationships. In our classroom, we create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel confident to take risks, ask questions, and express themselves.
We’ll be learning through exciting themes such as Minibeasts, Space, and The Polar Regions, taking part in lots of hands-on activities, and enjoying plenty of outdoor adventures!
Outside the classroom, I love spending time outdoors with my husband, our three children, and our two dogs. We live close to the Peak District and love exploring the beautiful countryside together—whether we’re going for long walks, finding new trails, or enjoying a picnic in the fresh air.
I’m looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with you!

A happy hello from me, Mrs Bonnington! I am looking forward to being your teacher on Thursdays and Fridays, I just know we are going to have a great year together.
I have been a teacher for more than 30 years and my favourite stage of learning is the Early Years – so much so, I get to visit other schools across our Trust to help them too!
I share the same principles as Mrs Fox – children learning through play and exploration is at the heart of what we do. Most importantly, we will make the perfect team in terms of nurturing relationships. My favourite area of learning is Exploring Art and Design and you will see me with all kinds of craft materials, helping children to paint and make sculptures out of clay. I also love story telling – we are planning to take you on many adventures through exploring a wide range of books this year. You might want to bring your favourite book to school too!
I am a mummy myself…I have beautiful twin teenage girls and also a daft cocker spaniel called Mabel. I can’t wait to learn all about you and your families too.

Meet your Teaching Assistants

Miss Freeman

Hello! My name is Miss Freeman, and I’m proud to be a Teaching Assistant in the Foundation Stage. I have a real passion for supporting young children as they begin their learning journey. Watching them grow in confidence and curiosity each day is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to be themselves. I love helping children explore new ideas, develop their skills, and enjoy their time at school.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my horses, going for walks and exploring different places, and spending time with family and friends. I am excited to support you all in your journey in September!

Mrs Wildgoose

Hello, my name is Mrs Wildgoose and I am an Early Years Practitioner in The Foundation Stage.
At school I love reading stories, singing songs and nursery rhymes, baking and being outdoors.
At home I like gardening, going for long walks and cooking family meals.
I’m really looking forward to meeting you and together we will have lots of fun while discovering,
exploring and learning lots of new things.
Mrs Wildgoose
