A week to Remember

This week we have been learning about the First World War and Remembrance. We created our own black out poems, used pastels and water colours to create a poppy field and also learned about the lives of children during the war.

The children made their own poppies out of felt. These are now attached to the tree by the main entrance and look amazing.

The children’s work  is not only on display in school but also in the Centre in Brinsworth. It would be wonderful if you could take the opportunity to go and have a look at all their fabulous work.

I am extremely proud of all the children this week! Well done!
