In FS1 we really enjoyed reading the story of ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and talking about all the different foods the caterpillar ate.
We know which foods keep our bodies healthy and which foods we should only eat a little bit of. We made The Very Hungry Caterpillar a healthy plate of food on the interactive whiteboard, looked for caterpillars in our outdoor area and also used paints and sponges to make caterpillar pictures.
