Recently, our KS1 children have been learning to tell the time to the hour. They began by exploring the different features of an analogue clock, including the hour hand, minute hand, and the numbers on the clock face. The children then enjoyed making their own clocks before using them to practise telling the time, making sure the minute hand pointed to 12 and the hour hand pointed to the correct number.
The children showed fantastic enthusiasm throughout the lesson and are growing in confidence with telling o’clock times. Well done, KS1!
