KS1 have really enjoyed exploring plants and trees in Science! They have been learning about the different parts of plants and using new scientific vocabulary such as trunk, branch, stem, leaf, flower, and fruit. The children discussed what each part does and why it is important for helping the plant grow and stay healthy.
To finish their learning, they created their own fantastic plant pictures and models, carefully labelling each part. Amazing work, well done KS1!
