To kick-start their new Literacy story, ‘Into the Forest’ by Anthony Browne, Year 2 headed outside to explore our very own school forest. The children used their senses to explore what they could hear, see, smell and touch, while discussing how the forest made them feel. They then generated a range of adjectives and nouns to describe their experience.
The children absolutely loved the experience and are excited to continue exploring the forest through their new story. Well done, Year 2!
