Y1 Making healthy fruit skewers

Y1 are looking at instructions in Literacy and have been making healthy fruit skewers. We talked about the different ingredients we would need and the different steps it would take to make them.

In history, Willow Class looked at propaganda posters and images of Edith Cavell. We then explored the questions: – What do they tell us about her? – Are the sources all reliable? After that, we used the sources and information given to answer enquiry questions.

Oak Class Bonfire Poems!

Willow Class Geography food miles

Willow class have been learning about food miles in Geography. We thought about our yummy lunches and all the ingredients that would’ve been used to make them. We then carried out independent research using the Chromebooks to find out where our food had come from!

FS1 First-Aid Training

The children in FS1 really enjoyed putting bandages on themselves for our first-aid training. A big thank you to @firstaidschools for delivering the training to our students.

Chestnut Class – What to do in an emergency

Chestnut class were fantastic yesterday learning about what to do in an emergency. They knew the different emergency services and then learned what to say on the telephone in an emergency. They listened so well and Mrs Sharp was very proud of them.
