African Music with Chestnut Class

Chestnut class had a great music lesson learning about African music. ???? We learned about call and response in song and then sang the traditional African song of Che Che Kule using this. We had great fun singing and making the rhythm to the song.

Fractions with Oak Class

This week in Maths, Oak class have started looking at fractions. They have been finding a half of different objects and shapes. They have even helped Miss Beevers share a picnic with super Ted by halving amounts. ????

Head Teacher’s Awards

What a fantastic week for Head Teacher’s Awards at Whitehill!  These two boys have received theirs for writing brilliant instructions in Literacy. Amazing artwork from this young lady has gained her an award.  Well done Whitehill!

Wonderdome comes to Whitehill

Year 3 Literacy

In literacy, children in Year 3 have been reading the Bog Baby. We loved the book so much, we decided to find our own Bog babies and make homes for them! We loved bringing their reading to life. It was a magical day!
