Foundation Stage Celebrate Chinese New Year 🎇🐲

Last week the children in Foundation Stage celebreated Chinese New Year.  We made playdough dragons and Chinese lanterns , tried some delicious Chinese food and used chop sticks to pick up pom-poms. We also had a dragon dance in the hall.  Kung hei fat choi! 

Family Inheritance with Oak Class

Oak class have been learning about inheritance in Science. We even had some siblings join us to help us spot the inherited characteristics. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦⭐

Y3/4 Prepare for Viking Day

Y3/4 enjoyed some DT work in preparation for their Viking day next week. We had to carefully measure out and cut using a hand saw. We will be using the wooden frames we created to make a Viking longboat.

Story Sharing 📚

It was wonderful to see so many adults in the classroom sharing a story with the children in Chestnut class. What a lovely afternoon! 🥰

Future Careers Research 🔍💻

After some lovely research on the many different careers we could have in the future, in Computing we started to look at how we can present information using Google slides.
