Y2 Geography!
This week, Holly Class took their Geography learning outside! They completed a field sketch of our school grounds. The children discussed the human and physical features they could see, and worked hard to draw like a Geographer, and not like an artist. Well done Y2, great work! #WeWorkHard
Y1/2 Harvest Assembly!
This week, KS1 enjoyed a Harvest assembly with the Rivers Team. Sarah talked to the children about where their food comes from, and what happens during the Harvest period, before collecting all of the donations of food that have been kindly donated. The children listened and sang beautifully in the assembly. Well done everyone! #WeListenToOthers
Y3/4 E-Safety in Computing
This half term, Y3/4 have been learning about people who have had an impact on our world, and E-Safety. This week, the children looked at different scenarios and discussed what they should do to keep themselves safe. They know they should follow our school’s E-Safety charter. Rockstar Day!
Last week, the children at Brinsworth really enjoyed their Rockstar Day! They had a fantastic Rockstar Assembly, and they logged onto TT Rockstars and practised their times tables. They also had a dance, designed their own instruments and completed Maths activities based on being a rockstar. Well done everyone!
Panathlon Ten Pin Bowling!
On Wednesday, children across Y5 and Y6 represented Brinsworth in the Rotherham School Games and Panathlon competition for ten pin bowling at Hollywood Bowl. The children absolutely loved this event, and celebrated each other’s achievements throughout the game. Well done Brinsworth! #WeAreProudOfOurAchievements
World Languages Day!
Last week, the children at Brinsworth Whitehill celebrated Languages Day in style. We answered the register in different languages, listened to different European songs and music, and even tried some European cuisine! We also practised singing in different languages too. Well done, Brinsworth Whitehill! Tres bien! #WeTakePrideInOurWork
