We had a great music lesson in the last week before the holidays with Mr Hayward-Browne. We composed a new Christmas carol reflecting on what we knew and felt about Christmas using a 300 year old Scottish folk melody. The children created the carol line by line matching their ideas to the melody before learning the song and performing it all in 1 hour! We have enjoyed having Mr Hayward-Browne with us this half term and hope that he enjoys all of his future teaching practices.
