Pumpkins

Something very exciting happened this week, Miss Palmer found the biggest pumpkin we had ever seen! After we had lots of fun playing with the gigantic pumpkin, we started to wonder, what might be inside? So we all sat around in a circle and watched closely as Miss Palmer carefully cut off the top of the pumpkin. We scooped out the inside of the pumpkin and guess what we found. SEEDS! Lots and lots of seeds, it was very exciting, we thought that it was “slimy”, “squidgy” and “cold”. We even thought it smelt a little bit like watermelon.
