This week in Science, we have been learning about the force gravity. At the start of the week, we collected what we already knew as a class and discussed this. We even thought about what might happen if there was no gravity.
On Thursday, we looked at the weight of objects and how this effects the force of gravity. We conducted an experiment that involved dropping different size objects into flour so that we could measure the speed in which they fell and the impact. We hypothesised that the lighter objects would fall the slowest and have the smallest impact.

After the experiment, we looked at our recorded results and thought about any links between the weight of the object, the speed in which it fell and the size of impact. We found out that the heavier the object; the faster it falls and the faster an object falls; the larger the impact.
On Friday, we will be conducting an egg-speriment! Check back for pictures and video updates! 🙂
