Why do we stick to the ground?

This week in Science, we have been learning about the force gravity. At the start of the week, we collected what we already knew as a class and discussed this. We even thought about what might happen if there was no gravity.

img_3702On Thursday, we looked at the weight of objects and how this effects the force of gravity. We conducted an experiment that involved dropping different size img_3699objects into flour so that we could measure the speed in which they fell and the impact. We hypothesised that the lighter objects would fall the slowest and have the smallest impact.

On Friday, we will be conducting an egg-speriment! Check back for pictures and video updates! 🙂
