After learning about algorithms, Chestnut class then learned how to use Scratch Jnr. They created a sprite character and a background. They then programmed their own sprite to move around the screen. The children absolutely loved it!
Chestnut class has been discussing their goals as part of Mental Health Week. The children talked about how we can achieve these and wrote down ideas of how we could reach our goal. Well done everybody!
Chestnut class had an amazing time making bread. They designed their bread first, thinking hard about what shape and what ingredients to use. They then made their own bread using their design. What a lovely day!

Last week, Chestnut used dictionaries to find new words. This will help us when reading new books. We then applied this skill to our story book and some new vocabulary.
