Children in 5/6 have been busy making interactive scenes as part of their DT!
Using research skills, they have designed a section of a fairy tale which includes interactive elements such as sliders, pop- ups and lift-the-flaps. The children had think carefully about their target audience when designing.
Working as small groups, the children then learned how to fold and cut card as well as the mechanics behind sliders, articulated parts and pop-up pieces.
We are hoping to share the story and our interactive scenes with younger children in school. Can you guess which fairy tale we are doing?
