Y1 Clay Tiles

The Year 1 children created a clay tile using pattern and texture. They used their prior knowledge of landscape art in their designs.

We said a very fond farewell to Mrs Mitchell today who is leaving today to start a new adventure in another school. We will really miss her and hope that she keeps in touch! Good luck Mrs Mitchell!

Y2 Geography

Chestnut class had a great afternoon learning that not all maps are the same and some can look much different. They were then given the task of locating the Arctic on each map. Some fabulous work from our geographers in Y2!

Arts & Crafts Club

In arts and crafts club the children are making a display of buildings from around the world. They are experimenting with fabrics and beads to create texture and detail. We can not wait to see them finished and up on the wall.

Whitehill Wonders!

FS2 Literacy

This week we read the story ‘One Snowy Night’ by Nick Butterworth. In Literacy, we sequenced the story and wrote about the main events.

Working Hard In Class

Birch and Sycamore have been wokring hard in DT, creating their template in preparation for their reversible toy.

Learning New Dance Moves

Chestnut class had a fantastic morning in their dance lesson for PE. They learned new dances which they will then perform in front of an audience. They listened and followed all of the instructions and were fantastic to watch!
