Welcome
to Butterflies (FS2)
Mrs Westnidge
Meet your teacher
I love working in Foundation Stage, as it is so much fun! However, the bit I love the most is watching you all learn and grow throughout the year. It makes me so proud!
I have worked in Foundation Stage 1 and 2 for 12 years. I thought I would share a few bits about myself with you, so here goes…
I have 3 children – I love taking them out to explore different places and to see new things. We especially all enjoy going on holiday. Some of the lovely places we have visited include Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain, Finland and Florida.
One of my hobbies is going shopping and buying new clothes and shoes. Don’t tell Mr Westnidge though, as he already says I have far too many clothes and shoes! I also enjoy reading books. One of my favourite books is Supertato and hopefully I will get to read it to you some time!
Meet your Teaching Assistants
Mrs Haynes
I have two children and I love to read and find as many opportunities as I can to get stuck into a good book. One of my favourite parts of my job is having the opportunity to share a story with the class at carpet time. I also enjoy anything creative and love finding lots of interesting and exciting projects to have a go at.
At home I enjoy spending lots of time with my family and I am happiest when making lots of memories, especially when we go for long walks and day trips out.
Mrs Ashton
I have 3 children who all love playing football so I often spend my weekends cheering them on from the sidelines. When they’re not playing football, we enjoy trips to the park, visiting the cinema and watching Disney films at home. My favourite Disey film is Beauty and The Beast!
I love learning about significant people and events about the past. I enjoy visiting museums and going on adventures in London! I have visited London many times and was lucky enough to be there for the King’s Coronation.
At school, I love reading stories and can’t wait to share my favourites with you! I also can’t wait to help you learn to read. We’re going to have so much fun together next year!
