Week 7 – Harry potter day
To celebrate our wonderful half terms topic based on ‘Harry Potter’, 3LB along with the other Year 3 and 4 children had an amazing Harry Potter day!
We wrote a glossary of magical ingredients on special parchment paper and invented sweets to go on the Hogwarts Express trolley in the morning and decorated our own wizard biscuits in the morning.
Then after lunch we all went into the Great Hall and were sorted by the sorting hat into our Hogwarts houses- Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. Then we played a ‘Guess Who?’ game trying to describe and guess characters from the books and took part in a Harry Potter Quiz in our house teams! We got to eat our biscuits and tests our fruity potions before looking at a showcase of the children’s very own spell books they have been busy working on at home this term! They were all absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful day pretending we were pupils at Hogwarts.
We were all excited to see which house the sorting hat would choose for us!
