Last week, we we
re learning about the Victorian artist, John Atkinson Grimshaw. John Atkinson Grimshaw was known for his city scenes and landscapes. He used colour and lighting to create atmosphere and mood in his art work. We looked at a selection of his art work and discussed what we liked and why. Then, we tried our best to re-create some of his work.
At the beginning, we did not think we would be able to re-create his work very well, however, once we had finished, they did look really good and we were really pleased with the end result.
