On Monday, we arrived back at school to find lots of rubbish thrown around the classroom. It was a mess!
Our first job that day was to sort through the rubbish and investigate whether it could be recycled or reused. We found out that not everything can be recycled and these items go to landfill areas. Afterwards, we discussed how things that cannot be recycled could be reused and how we could reduce the amount of rubbish we make!
In the afternoon, we looked at our school and how we could help our school to recycle, reuse or reduce! We have decided that our classrooms need bins for things that can be recycled and we will be writing letters to Mrs Lee to let her know our findings and ask for the bins needed.
All in all, we had a fantastic day and we cannot wait to continue our ‘Eco Warrior’ adventure!
