In Geography, we have been developing our map skills! We now know that Greece is in Europe and that Athens is the capital of Greece. We also used maps to discuss the land in Greece. We now understand that there is mainland Greece and surrounding Greek islands. After that, we used maps to identify different places in Greece. This included Rhodes, Crete and Kos. Some of the children in our class have visited these places, so they told us about their exciting experiences! For a challenge, we also identified different seas surrounding Greece.
