Chestnut Class Fieldwork

Chestnut class had a great time walking around the area near the school and completing their fieldwork. They looked at their route on a map and then observed the physical and human features of their surroundings. Finally, they did a traffic survey of all the vehicles they could see.

Chestnut Class Awards

Chestnut class were very proud to receive their Bronze awards last week for their Active Citizenship pledges. Well done everyone!

Outside Learning

Chestnut class really enjoyed their geography lesson today. They learned all about human and physical features and then went outside in the school grounds to see how many they could identify.

Chestnut Class – PSHE

Chestnut class had a great time in PSHE today learning about greetings. They then worked with their partner to create their own greeting and showed this to the rest of the class. Well done everyone!

Red Nose Day

Chestnut class had a great day wearing red and raising money for Comic Relief. Well done everybody!

Y2 Happy Bunnies 🐰

Chestnut class had an amazing afternoon with the Story Club today. They listened to Peter Rabbit and then made their own rabbit ears. The children listened so well and we had some very happy bunnies by the end of the session!

Chestnut Class Sketch London Landmarks

The children in Chestnut class really enjoyed sketching the London landmarks in art this week. They remembered their shading skills from last week, using shading, hatching and cross hatching to add tone to their landmark.
