This week in class, 6R, along with all our hard work, have done portraits of Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill. We’ve enjoyed doing art this week. Here are some examples:

Light on Earth

This week in 5C, we have been drawing pictures of Earth in oil pastels. We did our pictures based on day and night on Earth. We had a black piece of paper and some pictures of Earth (they were pictures of “the blind side” of our planet).

Tennis

This half term we are learning tennis skills with Mr Green. Have a look at what we have done so far!

Wildlife trace

Class 3\4R have been into the wildlife area to trace some leafs and twigs with wax crayons. We also had silver and gold wax crayons. Then we went back inside and painted over them in water colours.  

Trees

Animal Zoo

In class 3/4S, we have been making animals out of tissue paper, straws pompoms, sticky felt and a lot more stuff. When some people had finished the animals, they offered to help others or did another sheet.When all of the pictures were done they looked very nice.

CSI Experience!

On Wednesday the 16th of March the Y6 children took part in the CSI forensics afternoon. We identified fingerprints and did fake blood tests. The Teams were based on detectives including: Luther, Grissom, Holmes, Morse and Poiret.  

The Sun, Earth and Moon

This Term we are doing Space and this week we were making collages of the Sun, Earth and Moon and it was all scaled down to actual size!
