Miss Hollingworth
Meet your teachers
Hello, my name is Miss Hollingworth. I will be your new class teacher for Year 2. I am looking forward to meeting you all and starting my new adventure at Brinsworth Whitehill. I’ve been a teacher for six years now and love every minute! At school, I enjoy teaching phonics and maths.
In my free time, I enjoy catching up with friends and family and going on long walks especially in the sun! In the summer holidays, I enjoy travelling to new places and getting to learn about new countries and cultures! I also like to go to concerts and listen to different genres of music.
We will have so much fun during our learning together. I look forward to seeing you progress throughout the year!
Meet your Teaching Assistants
Mrs Bi
Hi, my name is Mrs Bi and I have been part of the Brinsworth Whitehill primary team for the past six years. I will be supporting you in your year 2 class. I believe the majority of you will alraedy know me from this year. Spending time with my family and friends is what I enjoy the most, especially cooking with my daughters. However, my more recent hobby is acting out different characters during role play sessions with my 4 year old daughter.
Class Information
Our class has a dojo account where we will regularly update you with information about learning, events and things that we are really proud of. Please ensure you check this regularly as we will also share information on school story.
Attendance is really important. Please ensure that you arrive at school on time, every day and be ready to learn!
PE will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. Please send your PE bag (drawstring please) to school on Mondays and take home on Friday.

Dip & Dab Christmas Panto Visit!
Children from FS1 through to Y3 thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Dip and Dab for their Christmas panto. There were lots of interactive activities throughout the performance
Blossom Class Healthy Eating
The children in Cherry Blossom class really enjoyed designing and making healthy sandwiches. Lots of children liked to try something new as their filling. 🥙🍅

The children in Cherry blossom class looked at how batteries can power a simple circuit and what you would need in a circuit. The children

Blossom class really enjoyed their reading session with parents on Thursday afternoon! It was lovely to see all the smiley faces from our children, younger siblings
