Meet your teachers
Hello, my name is Mrs Leng and I work part-time with Mrs Hawes. I am really excited to be teaching back in Year 1 with some of the children I recently taught in Nursery.
I live in Rotherham with my husband Lee and I have a son called Harry who now lives in London. We have 2 cats, Lola and Socks and an adopted dog called Peter. I work on Thursday and Friday and the rest of my time is spent caring for my Mum. I love to craft and I enjoy sewing, making jewellery and I have also recently taken up crocheting. I also enjoy swimming and going for walks.
I have taught for many years in year 1 and I am really looking forward to returning to KS1. My favourite subject is phonics.
Hello my name is Mrs. Hawes and I am looking forward to teaching in Year 1 with Mr. Leng this year. I am looking forward to seeing the children I already know and getting to know the new ones!
I love to read books for grown ups as well as books for children. Two of my favourite authors are Julia Donaldson and Shirley Hughes.
I have two grown up children and a cat called Willow. I enjoy walking and travelling to lots of new places.
Meet your Teaching Assistant
Mrs Holmes
Some of you may know me from around school, I will be working in Year 1 in September. I enjoy all subjects, but my favourites are P.E and art so I look forward to getting stuck into all your art projects.
Outside of school I like to exercise and go walking in the woods with my little boy and my dog gizmo.
