Printing Practice for Y5/6

Year 5/6 had a very busy but exciting afternoon printing in Art. After exploring the printmaking process, the children created a design using the theme ‘India’. They drew out their image on poly block to create their motif. The children used their colour palette to mix colours ready to print. The results were amazing! ????

RE Virtual Tour

Chestnut class were very excited to have a virtual tour of the Sheffield Madina Masjid mosque. ???? They found it very interesting to see inside and discuss what they could see. Some of the children in the class had actually visited there before so were able to provide extra details also. Well done everyone!

Sun Safety with Chestnut Class

Chestnut class really enjoyed their morning activity today. They designed sunglasses and hats to stay safe in the sun with their adult. ????☀ It was so lovely to see everybody so busy and happy in the classroom! 

Boomwhackers Music

Chestnut class really enjoyed their Boomwhackers lesson in music this week. ???? They played different songs using their boomwhacker, understanding that each one represented a different note. ???? Well done everyone!
