Showing Kindness

Chestnut class had a lovely PSHE lesson discussing what it means to be kind and how to show it. We sat in a circle and they each said a thing that they liked about the person next to them. They showed great kindness and listened really well to one another during the activity.

Y2 Happy Bunnies 🐰

Chestnut class had an amazing afternoon with the Story Club today. They listened to Peter Rabbit and then made their own rabbit ears. The children listened so well and we had some very happy bunnies by the end of the session!

How to achieve your goals!

Chestnut class has been discussing their goals as part of Mental Health Week. The children talked about how we can achieve these and wrote down ideas of how we could reach our goal. Well done everybody!

Girls Football ⚽

Mrs Sharp and Miss Dickinson had a great afternoon watching the girls play football. They showed such a brilliant attitude and worked together so well as a team. Well done girls!

Y2 Harvest Day!

Y2 have had a Harvest Day! We used oil pastels to draw vegetables, chopped vegetables, we then roasted and ate them!

Castle Sketching with Chesnut Class 🏰

Recently Chestnut class did some rubbings of materials we would use to build a castle. We are focusing on creating texture as we will be sketching our own castle.
