Y3/4 Practice Subtracting

In Miss Henson’s maths group, children used place value charts and counters to practice subtracting.

Outside Fun!

Y3 & 4 had a great time outside today playing with the new equipment. Some children were playing giant connect four and others were den building. So much fun and such a lovely day.

Talent Pianist

Our World Music Day assembly featured a very special piano performance from this talented musician!

Blitz Background Painting

3/4S had a lovely afternoon finishing their Blitz background. They mixed powder paints to make warm colours for the backgrounds. Next, the children will be creating silhouettes for the foreground. Mrs Sharp cannot wait until they are finished!

Y3/4H Make Photo Frames

What a lovely afternoon in Y3/4H today! We have been making some prototype photo frame designs in our design technology lesson. We had to make them so that they could stand up and hold a photo. We now have some great ideas for when we make them using more resistant materials.

Roll up! Roll up! Read all about it!

Roll up! Roll up! Read all about it! Mrs. Sharp’s literacy group loved being reporters today. They used their keyboard skills to write their newspaper report about the outbreak of the Second World War.

World Book Day Challenge

Here are some of the wonderful entries in LKS2 for the potato challenge for World Book Day.

Vikings with Class 3/4

3/4S learned all about Viking justice and law yesterday. We then held our own Thing to decide what our village should do: flee, surrender or fight the King that was coming to conquer our land.
