We love Buddy Reading!

This term we all have a buddy in school that we read with once a week. Our class are reading with Year 5 children. We always look forward to seeing our buddy and reading with them. We take it in turns to read our books to each other.

Matball

KS1 really enjoyed their matball competition. They played four games and won all four which can only mean one thing … Yes you guessed it, we’re through to the finals!

Football

In October, KS2 took part in a football tournament. We entered four teams, U9 Girls U9 Boys U11 Girls U11 Boys We were AMAZING! Three out of the four teams went through to the Rotherham finals and we placed 2nd and 3rd in the whole of Rotherham. Here are some photos of our teams.

Cross Country

Recently we have taken part in the cross-county tournament in October, and we went through to the finals at Herringthorpe playing fields! It was all about where we were going and who we had left behind.

Build a Bear

Wanted! Robin Hood

Last week (9th November – 13th November) Year 5s have been writing newspaper reports based on Robin Hood’s crimes. Following this we were inspired to created ‘Wanted Posters’ because Robin Hood is on the run again.

Children In Need
