In literacy, we have been learning about reindeer and caribou. Did you know that male reindeer are called Bulls? Females are called Cows. Baby reindeer are called calves. In Europe, where they are mostly domesticated [tame], they are called reindeer. Tame reindeer live on farms where they work for people by carrying heavy loads or pulling sleds. Caribou are wild reindeer that live in North America and Alaska.
